The home owner contacted us with concerns of possible hail and storm damage. After closer inspection, we for substantial storm damage from both hail and wind damage, causing a major leak that was damaging their ceiling. It was 100% clear that they needed it completely replaced. The home owner wanted to keep the original color of the roof or as close as possible, so we used our Owens Corning Duration shingles in Williamsburg Grey with a felt underlay. We replaced boards that had been rotted out due to water damage and installed ridgevents for the homeowner as well.
This is a beautiful home in the historical district of north Davidson. This home was remodeled around two years ago but unfortunately the contractors choose the wrong roofing system for this perticular type of infrastructure leading to several leaks around the house. We went with a two-ply modified bitumen self-adhered roof from GAF.
We really enjoy tackling this type of jobs to ensure the all weather protection because we know how good of a feeling it is to have your home protected from everyday weather.
