Matthews, NC Roof Repair at Chimney

This home contacted us with a leak at the chimney. When our tech went out to determine what the issue is, he found that there was no cricket installed at the chimney to divert the water away from the chimney. A "cricket" is designed to prevent the water from flowing directly into the chimney wall and is to direct the water around the chimney. The project consisted of removing the old shingles and underlayment, framing a cricket/new roof over the existin roof, intall Ice and water shield, new flashing and new chimneys. The chimney is now leak free and looks great!
